Anty Maim was an antweight robot built by Team Rockitz which fought at the inaugural BattleAnts event held as part of Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a two wheel drive robot equipped with a horizontal sawblade mounted underneath its baseplate, serving as an undercutter. All of Anty Maim's electronics were housed on its baseplate and the robot featured no armor, meaning its components and wiring were all exposed. According to builder Kelly Smith, Anty Maim's blade could spin at up to 3000rpm. Anty Maim did poorly in the competition, losing in its first and only known match to Gnat.
Team Rockitz also built the moderately successful middleweight Psychotron, which reached the Round of 16 in Season 4.0. He also entered the 2016 season on ABC with a heavyweight version called Psychotron XL, but was not selected to compete.

Anty Maim vs. Gnat Anty Maim's first match was against Gnat. However Anty Maim's weapon made the robot difficult to control and the robot bounced all over the arena, allowing Gnat to easily control the fight. As a result, Anty Maim lost this battle and was eliminated from the competition. |
