Amarok was a heavyweight robot designed by a group of Youngstown State University engineering students named Team Amarok, which attempted to qualify for BattleBots World Championship VI.

The robot was two-wheel drive, invertible and armed with a pair of small horizontal cutters at the front. Originally submitted as a white with the team's logo on its top panel, Amarok also featured the their university's logo on the sides.
The CAD was originally revealed in mid-2021 and was updated soon after, with the most recent version of Amarok was black with angular side armor and scales on top.[1]
Amarok was not selected to compete in the competition, but the team have stated they hope to get on BattleBots in the future.[2] Construction of Amarok was underway as of December 2022, but the robot's current state is unknown.

Students of Youngstown State University would later design and compete in RoboGames 2023 with heavyweight Emperor. It was a wide robot themed around an emperor penguin with a vertical spinning disk at the front. After receiving a first round bye, Emperor lost its opening battle against Cataclysm and then fell in the loser's bracket to Puck.
They would return the following year with an eggbeater drum named Hailstorm. This time, they once again lost to Puck before picking up wins against Ray Billing's Stink Eye and Echo 3.0 before being eliminated by Ziggy Jr.
