Alien Gladiator was a middleweight robot that competed in the first televised season of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a box-shaped robot with a tapered front, armed with a rear thwacking arm that had a chain flail at the end. It was built by Daniel Rupert of Team Malicious. Alien Gladiator won one battle by forfeit, which advanced it to the quarter-finals of its only season where it lost to Deadblow.

After Season 1.0 Alien Gladiator was retired and succeeded by lightweight Alien 2, which did worse.  

Robot History

Season 1.0
Alien Gladiator vs. The Emasculator (Forfeit) Alien Gladiator's first match was against The Emasculator, but The Emasculator had technical issues so it was forced to forfeit. This win put Alien Gladiator to the quarter-finals, where it faced Deadblow.
Alien Gladiator vs. Deadblow Alien Gladiator gets axed by Deadblow, before Deadblow lost its axe. Both robots went straight at each other, but Alien Gladiator started to get pierced by Deadblow's axe and eventually stopped moving after getting its weapon caught in the hellraisers. Deadblow kept hitting Alien Gladiator until its axe broke off from metal fatigue. Alien Gladiator then got its weapon caught under the hellraisers and could not move, leaving Deadblow to win by KO and Alien Gladiator was eliminated from the tournament.
Middleweight Royal Rumble Alien Gladiator wasn't finished, however, as it entered the Middleweight Royal Rumble at the end of the tournament. Right from the start, its chain flail got caught underneath Spin Orbiting Force until Ankle Biter charged into Alien Gladiator and separates them. For the rest of the rumble, Alien Gladiator pretty much did nothing to the other robots. However, it survived until the end of the rumble with Bad Attitude, but lost out to Hazard.
