A Bot Named Sue was a lightweight robot built by Christopher Powell which fought exclusively in Season 3.0 of Comedy Central's BattleBots. It was a T-shaped robot which was armed with steel spikes. It didn't do well in competition, losing its only fight to Carnage Raptor.
A Bot Named Sue as of 2019
It was most likely named after the Johnny Cash song, A Boy Named Sue.
In 2019, the bot resurfaced under the ownership of Powell's friend, Abel Gutierrez, who keeps it hung on a wall as a household decoration.
