4 Aces was a 15lb robot entered by high school students of Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart into BattleBots IQ 2010.
It was a long, two-wheel drive robot with a shallow wedge at the front and a spinning shaft at the rear with two blades attached. Its name derives from the poker hand also known as 'four of a kind' or 'quads'. Four aces symbolizes good luck and strength within a game.
An image of the four aces - one per club - were present on the front wedge as well as its name on top.
4 Aces fought a total of four fights, losing its first before winning two in the loser's bracket. However, a loss by judges' decision to Boom Boom would confirm its elimination from the 2010 tournament.
